The Underscore Orkestra is going on tour in late July-early August and we're looking for local bands to share shows with. We'll be headed south from portland and going thru CA. If anybody knows of a band of the Balkan, Eastern European, Klezmer, Gypsy Jazz, Swing, Accoustic, Folk variety.....well anything really, let me know. ________willo

    Guten Abend!

I saw you plan at the Stork Club in Oakland with some good friends of mine from my time in New Orleans and I really enjoyed your show. I'd definitely enjoy performing with you.

As Onkel Woland, I do an original storytelling extravaganza complete with a varying array of musicians always including accordion and sometimes including saw, fiddle, cello, mandolin, sitar, recorder, and/or penny whistle depending upon which members of my menagerie are available for a show. Shows include characters ranging from a trapeze artist Clockwork Girl to a naughty Bunny Foo Foo to a juggler/acrobat to waltzing animals. We can do sets ranging from about 6 minutes to a couple hours and I do in character MC'ing. We've performed at Accordion Apocalypse, Annie's Social Club, and various underground parties and venues in the SF Bay area.

If this sounds interesting check out Onkel Woland and the Black Forest Menagerie at www.herrwoland.com and send me an email at rich@herrwoland.com.

    Thanks!!!
